We love junk at Prep! Children get great enjoyment out of collage and construction activities at Prep. The following items are all very popular:
- Wool, thread, ribbon, cord, florist wire, gift ties, twine, string, paper clips, tooth picks, vinyl strips.
- Wood shavings, match sticks, samples of wall boards, samples of bench tops, small pieces of wood, sawdust
- Dried seeds, dried flowers, dried. grasses, seed pods, shells, gum nuts, sponges, bark, feathers
- Mosquito netting, onion bags and net fruit bags, braid, lace, beads, buttons and sequins, tulle, cotton wool and cotton reels, material cutouts, hessian, corks, felt, long pieces of material, varying textures of vinyl, spray pack lids, clean yoghurt, ice cream and margarine containers.
- Dyed play dough, pasta, rice.
