Glass House Mountains State School is situated in the foothills of the beautiful Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. The school community was proud to be able to celebrate the school's Centenary in 2006.
The school was established to service the increasing population of farming families. Pineapple, avocado, macadamia and custard apple farms still grace the landscape today, although not in large pockets as in earlier days.
With year levels from Prep to Year 6, the school has a population of approximately 420 students and is privileged to share a successful and rewarding relationship between students, staff, parents and the wider community.
