Students in Year 5 have the opportunity to become Senior Leaders. The Senior Leader nomination process runs during Term 2 and Term 3 each year.
For students to be nominated they must:
- Display sound work habits in class
- Make a worthwhile contribution to school life
- Remain involved in a range of school activities
- Make every effort to wear the full school uniform
- Model appropriate behaviours travelling to and from school
- Display exemplary playground behaviour
- Model appropriate behaviour for all students
- Encourage appropriate behaviour by all students
Students in Year 5 who become Senior Leaders are eligible to nominate for School Captains, Vice Captains, Student Council and House Captains in Year 6.

- Make a worthwhile contribution to school life by representing my fellow students and their needs
- Remain involved in a range of school activities
- Uphold the school's rules and expectations
- Encourage all students to follow the school's rules and expectations - I am Respectful, I am Safe, I am an Active Learner
- Wear my uniform with pride
- Work as a team with all student leaders
