Our school operates a successful Perceptual Motor Program for children in Prep and Year 1.
The activities involved are designed to improve the children's ability to receive, interpret and respond to stimuli, bother internal and external.
We are hoping that children will, through this program show improved:
- self-esteem
- motor development
- hand - eye co-ordination
- balance
- spatial awareness
- visual perception
In 2019 the Perceptual Motor Program will run on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8.30am - 9.00am. To run this important part of our program, we need the assistance of 10 parents each morning. We ask that if you are available to help on any morning, just speak to the Prep teachers. They will explain your activity and what is required.
